BSc, MA, Cert Fertility Awareness and Natural Family Planning
Dee spent 15 years working as a senior manager in the NHS and in public sector consultancy with PwC. Whilst preparing for her own pregnancy at the age of 35, she became fascinated with the subject of fertility and decided to go back to university to re-train. She did her fertility training at the University of Central Lancashire, qualifying with distinction in 2006. Dee is currently combining her fertility work with studying for a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling at the University of Edinburgh. She writes a blog about fertility issues and regularly has articles published by Huffington Post.
Dee opened Edinburgh's first private fertility awareness clinic in 2006. A year later she joined colleagues Rachael Forrest and Fiona Wolfenden in creating The Natural Fertility Centre, Scotland's leading specialist support service for natural and assisted conception. In 2012 they moved to their own dedicated premises in Edinburgh's beautiful New Town.
Dee lives with her husband and teenage twin sons in Edinburgh.
